Delete your account
This applies to TowerTalk on the web and in the TowerTalk app. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
If you pay for a plan
Deleting your account cancels your subscription straight away, so you won’t be charged again. It doesn’t refund the period you’ve already paid for; if you think you’re due a refund, email info@towertalk.co.uk within 14 days of the payment. If the cancellation can’t be completed, your account is not deleted and you’ll be told to try again.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in at towertalk.co.uk, or open the TowerTalk app.
- Go to Account.
- Under Data & privacy, choose Delete my account, then confirm.
It happens straight away, and we email you to confirm it is done. It cannot be undone.
If you can't sign in
Email info@towertalk.co.uk from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm it is your account. We reply within one month, which is the time UK data-protection law allows.
What is deleted
Your login, profile, training history, progress, radio-call transcripts, saved settings, and the files stored against your own account: your profile picture and any mock-exam recordings you submitted.
What is kept, and why
- Anonymous training statistics. Your practice scores are kept with nothing that links them to you: the exercise, the score, the verdict, how long it took and the day. They help us see which exercises people find hard.
- Payment records, for as long as tax law requires.
- Your address on our unsubscribe list, if you unsubscribed, so we never email you again.
- Records your flying school or instructor holds about your training with them, such as their student record, lesson reports, bookings, invoices and documents they added. Those are the school’s records: ask the school if you want them removed.
The full detail is in the Retention section of our privacy policy.
Delete your history but keep your account
On the same Account page, under Data & privacy, you can delete your training history and logs and keep your login.
