About TowerTalk

TowerTalk helps student pilots practise UK radio telephony for the FRTOL (Flight Radio Telephony Operator's Licence) exam. You make radio calls and an AI plays the role of Air Traffic Control, responding with realistic CAP 413 phraseology.

How it works

• Practise — pick an exercise (Requests, Readbacks, Reports, Risks), work through each prompt, and speak or type your call.
• Get marked — end a practice and an AI examiner assesses your calls against the relevant CAP 413 rules, with specific corrections and a model answer.
• Track progress — your best result on each prompt is saved in your browser.
